About the event
Elevator emergencies present unique challenges for first-arriving companies. At this Rescue Lab hands-on training evolution, participants will step into realistic elevator rescue scenarios designed to test decision-making, technical skills, and team coordination.
Rescuers will work through live, scenario-driven problems including:
• Operating rope systems to lower and raise rescuers within the hoistway
• Identifying and building alternative anchor points
• Securing and controlling the movement of a stalled elevator car
• Removing victims trapped between floors
